October 27, 2007

All cheerleaders and parents are invited to go as a team to watch the Debbie Rogers Cheer Classic held at the Colonial Center.  We will meet in front of the fountain at 3:00p.m.  It will cost anywhere from $5-$10 for spectators to get in so please plan accordingly.  Please bring 2 bags of blow pops to Coach Angie Sunday Oct. 21st.  All girls need to wear hair half up half down curled with cheer bow, yellow shorts, and t-shirt.  Coach Angie and Lindsay's mom will get you the shirts and ribbon at practice on friday! Get ready to be entertained and to see some amazing athletes perform!

The Youth Team will perform a 1 1/2 minute routine at Bookman Rd Elementary for their Family Fun Night.  All cheerleaders and parents will need to meet at The Young Gymnast at 5:00 pm.  Family Fun Night begins at 6:30 p.m. GO CROSSFIRE!!!

January 6, 2008

At practice today we gave out a list of optional Crossfire merchandise that can be purchased.  This form will need to be returned at your teams next practice.  Payment for these items are due January 20th! We also handed out a list of tumbling classes based on ability.  At your fist class of the month, you will need to bring the gyms medical release form along with your $40 tution payment made payable to Flip City Gymnastics and Cheer.

JUNIOR AND SENIORS

1st COMPETITION IN COLUMBIA

Our first competition will be held March 1-2, 2008 at the Columbia Metro Convention Center.  The daily spectator fee for this competition will be $15 each day for ages 5 and up.  5 and under will be admitted free.  Please bring everyone that you to support and cheer us on since this is the only competition in Columbia! Both teams will compete both Saturday and Sunday. The two scores from both days will be added up to decide on final rankings.  The competition will begin at 9:00 am and will end around 6:00pm.  There will be a Cheerleaders Ultimate Dance Party at Jillians for $3 per person and the girls will receive unlimited drinks and their will be a DJ and Dance party for anyone interested.  LETS GO CROSSFIRE!!!!!!

-We will need to stay in a hotel Saturday night due to the competition beginning at 10 am. We will be staying at Candlewood Suites University. The cutoff for the block is March 7th which means that you need to call ASAP to reserve your room! The phone number is 704-598-9863.  Please use the name Carolina Crossfire when calling to reserve your room.

Spring CheerFest Open Nationals

April 12th

The Palace in Myrtle Beach

-We will stay at the Long Bay Resort on Friday April 11th.  Everyone will need to make reservations as soon as possible because they are filling up quickly.  Just mention you are with Carolina Crossfire so they can note that. With all girls at the same hotel, we will do hair and makeup at the hotel and even have a brief practice.  We will also have a team and parent meeting Friday at 9:00 pm in one of the coaches’ hotel rooms.  Please plan accordingly.  All cheerleaders must have an adult in their room due to hotel policy.  If you are not planning to attend, please have your child pair up with another family.
